Tour Operators . . .
There are three main sources for tour operation, the three A's which stand for Access, Amenities and Ancillaries. Access is the different types of transport used such as; road, rail, sea and air, Amenities is another word for accommodation, food and drinks and Ancillaries are all the "extras" such as; car hire, insurances and extrusion.
Tour operators are the holiday companies that a lot of people use when booking holidays in the UK or even overseas trips
e.g. Thomas Cook, Thomsons and First Choice. Unlike travel agents who sell holidays and other things to do with them, tour operators gather different parts of the holidays by dealing with the transport and accommodation and other companies.
